report than this one for this topic.

done with ASTM20A on an olefin berber. The problem was inherent from the
manufacture's spin finish and fell between two standards.

- Spot From Reflection This spot was created by
sunlight reflecting off a wooden chest.
- Stain Resistance Can be Fixed The
manufacturer commissioned this report and then agreed to have an independent cleaning firm
to apply a product from STEAMWAY INTERNATIONAL to fix the problem.
- Stain
Resist Loss Due To Improper Cleaning This report was commissioned by a carpet mill and
had a commercial stain resist warranty. The stain resistance was destroyed by cleaner who
used concrete cleaner.

This report was done for a fiber producer where the homeowner's cat had a urinary dripping
problem.
- Protectant That Went Bad Fluorochemical
protectant applied after the installation on a wool carpet made a zigzag line.
- Yellow Spots made with Spotter This
report was commissioned by the dealer and involved Folex. The Folex was found to have a
safe pH, and the stain resistance was defective.
