Cleaning Errors Reports (Professional)

  Carpet cleaning generally has its own unique problems; however, the   reports in the menu above are purely cleaning problems; the ones below could fall into another category too. Consumer cleaning errors are covered in Maintenance Reports.

  1. Stain Resist Loss Due To Improper Cleaning This report was commissioned by a carpet mill and had a commercial stain resist warranty. The stain resistance was destroyed by the cleaner who used concrete cleaner.
  2. Swirl Marks from RX This report was done for the homeowner. There are pictures of what an RX-20 did to a Saxony Plush.
  3. Blue spots from solution hose This problem arose using a Prochem machine and its old hydraulic solution hose after UltraPac Traffic Lane Cleaner got on to it.
  4. Fluorochemical Makes Spots from Railway Iron This report was done for the insurance company and the spots were made by spin padding fluorochemical protectant into the carpet.
  5. Bleach Spots from Railway Iron This report was done for the carpet mill and there was an agreement in the end for the installer, carpet cleaner, and homeowner to do a three way split for the repair.
  6. Browning from Dog Oil This report was commissioned by the carpet cleaner and there was something likened to cellulosic browning on the carpet.
  7. Bleeding from Cationic Dye on Nylon This report was done for an insurance company and is about the problems of cross-dye systems.
  8. Protectant That Went Bad Fluorochemical protectant applied after the installation on a wool carpet made a zigzag line.
  9. Spots from Optical Brightener This report was written for the carpet cleaner and the red spots were created by furniture cleaner with a pH indicator dye.
  10. Spots from Rust from an Old Truckmount These carpet cleaners bought an old Bates unit and left sodium percarbonate in it over the weekend. The insurance company called the problem an equipment malfunction and paid for the carpet.
  11. Teflon not applied  This report was done for the homeowner.
