Some observations to make during a cleaning inspection

1. Were there any spots and stains present?

• Where were they located?
• What color were they?
• Did they have a tacky hand?
• Did they have any particular smell?
• What part of the yarn were they located on?

2. What was the hand of the carpet?

• How did it compare to the uncleaned parts of the carpet?

3. Double check the under-laying beneath the carpet?
4. If over wet

• check the back side of carpet for stains

• Check for delamination

• What kind of wand-marks were present?
