Color loss and Fading Reports have some bleed over;
however, the reports in the menu above are purely color loss; the ones below could
fall into another category too. Fading is covered in Fading
Reports.
- Bleeding from Cationic Dye on Nylon This
report was done for an insurance company and is about the problems of cross-dye systems.
- Color Loss from Nature's Orange This
report was done for a consumer and the mill accepted the claim.
- Color Loss from Crocking, Pesticides, & Epson
Salt This report was done for the carpet mill and found not fault with manufacturing.
- Bleach Spots from Railway Iron This
report was done for the carpet mill and there was an agreement in the end for the
installer, carpet cleaner, and homeowner to do a three way split for the repair.
- Color Loss from Mop This report was written for an
insurance company.
- Color Loss in the shape of
triangles This report was done for a carpet mill that had a two color, cationic dye
carpet that lost color.
- Fading
four-inch Line This report was done for a consumer where a roller in manufacturing
caused a latent defect with the dye.
- Formaldehyde Fading on Acrylic This
report was done for a consumer after reconstruction of his house. The contractor was at
fault.
- Repetitive Odd Shaped Color Loss in
Solution Dyed Nylon This report was commissioned by a carpet mill that wanted no
pictures until they read the report. It was difficult to find a category for this report.
