Double Stick Reports

The Double Stick Installation Method has been very popular in the past few years and it is continuing to be installed in numerous facilities. However as an installation system, it has not gone without problems. Indicative of failures is buckling and seam separation. The culprit made is related to a single problem or a combination of problems.

  1. DoubleStick Failure from Moisture This was an old installation and was more of a specification problem.
  2. Double Stick Failure in Church This is a very detail report with pictures.
  3. Double Stick Failure1 This was a new installation and the installer missing his open time and did not roll a woven carpet twice.
  4. Delamination on Double Stick This is a great 'BS' report where the actual problem is likely plasticizer migration.
