This carpet had a grid pattern that repeated itself  six & half times every 10 inches. The pattern is off on the side-by-side panels. This is called a SKEW or BIAS.

According to the FLOOR COVERING DICTIONARY it says this about SKEWNESS.
SKEWNESS -
The distance measured parallel to and along a selvage between the pint at which a filling yarn meets this selvage and a perpendicular to the selvage from the point at which the same filling yarn meets the selvage. Skewness may be expressed directly in inches or as a percentage of the width of the fabric at the point of the measurement.
