Yarn Slippage Reports

  Yarn slippage and/or Pulled yarns is related to latex in tufted carpets, but can be created by maintenance & usage, plus the installation.

  1. Yarn Slippage from Latex Bundle Wrap The tuft-bind was good, but AVERAGE LATEX BUNDLE WRAP 37% -- AVERAGE LATEX PENETRATION’ 48%.
  2. Yarn slippage - Improper Cushion This report was commissioned by the mill and this guy had 1/2 Inch Rebond 3.5 Lb./Cu. Ft.
  3. Yarn Slippage from too wide panels The panel widths indicated that the selvage was not trimmed enough to satisfy standards.
  4. Yarn Slippage no Defect The claimant in this report had the option to get a carpet with better tuftbind, but elected not to. When they complained about pulled yarns, there was no defect found.
  5. Seam Failure, no seaming adhesive This report was commissioned by the mill and the problem reported was pulled yarns.
